TCB empowers unemployed South Africans to become self-employed by providing the skills, resources, and opportunities they need to build successful small businesses.
1. Collection drive:
Mobilise your company, team and friends to collect and donate good condition clothing items, sewing machines and small appliances, like toasters and air fryers. These will help TCB equip unemployed South Africans on their journey to self-employment. TCB’s Cape Town branch can also use large appliances (washing machines and microwaves), electronic goods like cell phones and fabric rolls or swatches.
Please deliver to the TCB branch near you or call your nearest branch for collection options if you have a very big donation.
2. Donate for a great cause:
With a proven track-record of 14 years, TCB makes excellent use of all donations as they empower South Africans on their journey to self-employment.
You can also donate towards a specific requirement:
- R600 for a sewing starter kit that will be used by self-employed sewer (for the Remake programme)
- R600 for an appliance repair kit for a new repair business owner (for the Repair programme)
- R300 for ‘Me and My Money’ training, a life-changing money management course.
